Responsibilities

Manage University Invention Disclosure and Licensing Documents

Coordinate the execution (signing) of a wide variety of legal agreements and documents in support of technology transfer, sponsored programs and related activities

These agreements would include invention disclosures, research agreements, non-disclosure agreements, assignment, student design IP, option and license agreements

Be responsible for management of both paper and electronic filing systems and databases including oversight of the federal invention reporting database i-Edision

Interact with outside entities, UM legal staff, department chairs, faculty, sponsored program and technology transfer staff

Assist with other department needs as they arise
