The selected candidate will join an engineering team focused on managing semiconductor quality investigations, analyzing quality data, and designing reporting templates to improve customer quality support.

Responsibilities
Drive structured 8D analysis to identify root causes of quality issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure sustainable improvements in semiconductor products
Analyze Quality Data and Trends Review and interpret quality metrics, customer returns, and failure analysis reports to identify recurring issues and opportunities for improvement
Develop and Maintain Reporting Templates Create efficient and standardized templates to document investigation progress, corrective actions, and final resolutions for internal and customer-facing reports
Collaborate Cross-Functionally Work closely with design, manufacturing, and customer support teams to gather relevant data, validate findings, and align on corrective actions
Utilize Statistical and Analytical Tools Apply statistical methods and tools (e.g., Pareto analysis, fishbone diagrams, control charts) to support root cause analysis and validate effectiveness of corrective actions
Support Quality Systems and Documentation Ensure all investigation activities are properly documented in quality systems (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI), and contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes and standards
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in electrical engineering, pursuing a BS or MS degree
Excellent verbal and written skills
Excellent analytical skills / critical thinking
Understanding of database management. (PowerBi, Sales Force)
Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes
Problem – solving abilities
Solid understanding of statistical methods
Ability to understand electronics schematics and diagrams
Basic understanding of automotive semiconductors quality
Must have a team-oriented attitude, accountability, and ownership
