Provide system administration support for NTCSS VM servers (Linux)

Respond to and resolve user trouble calls

Conduct system/security backups

Conduct daily system checks and take resolution action

Provide system maintenance actions, upgrades and security updates

Release and print batch reports as required

Monitor/Administer system interfaces

Required

Requires a Bachelor's Degree in management information systems, information technology, information science, business, computer science, mathematics, or related quantitative science field

As a substitute, eight years of experience in a combination of computer programming, design, and/or analysis. Education equivalency experience is in addition to the minimum experience of the labor category

In addition to the education requirements above, the Senior Automated Information Systems Analyst shall have eight years of experience in computer analysis, Navy AISs functional analysis, networks and programming; plus two additional years as a senior-level analyst working under a formal quality management system. Note: the two additional years as a senior-level analyst working under a formal quality management system may overlap with the eight years of experience in computer analysis, Navy AISs functional analysis, networks and programming

Must have a current DOD Secret security clearance

Must have a CompTIA Security+ certification or achieve within six months of hire

Must complete Linux Operating System training within six months of hire

Preferred

The ideal candidate would be a former Navy/Marine Corps Information Systems Technician (IT Rating) with experience in NTCSS NALCOMIS/OOMA system administration, NMCI and Microsoft Office products
