Responsibilities
Produce machined wood parts by programming, setting up, and operating various equipment
Understanding and demonstration of how to operate each machine based on cabinetry structure and needs
Maintain quality and safety standards
Record keeping of job information
Basic machine maintenance such as cleaning, lubricating necessary parts, and changing cutting blades as necessary
Keeping up with the production schedule
Keeping up to date with our product spec guide
Keeping up to date on the training of machinery
Communicate job information to other staff members
Qualification
Required
2 years of woodworking experience
Cabinetry builder experiences
Math skills: will need to understand addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of fractions and decimals
Problem-Solving Skills: Will need to know why machines are not at peak performance, how to increase output, and how to fix errors
Attention to Detail: Will work with precision equipment; keen attention to detail is required
Stamina: Can work doing repetitive movements and standing in one area for long periods
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to lift and slide products weighing 50lbs to 100lbs
Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
Preferred
Cabinet-making experience
Cabinetry builder experience
Beam Saw, CNC router, or Edge banding experience
