Responsibilities
Provide ASL interpretation for clients during in-person and video appointments
Work with clients to ensure clear communication and understanding
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines of interpreting
Collaborate with other interpreters and professionals as needed
Stay updated on best practices and advancements in ASL interpretation
Qualification
Required
RID (Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf) or BEI (Board for Evaluation of Interpreters) certification required
Experience in interpreting in various settings (medical, educational, etc.) is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work flexible hours but hours of highest volume at 9am to 4pm PST
