Responsibilities

Provides technical and operational supervision to a section of professionals in technical discipline area
Ensures the technical, administrative, direct labor and schedule targets for the section are met
Responsible for the management, performance, growth and professional development of discipline-specific section. Coordinates section activities, establishes priorities and staff to jobs
Builds strong client relationships with new and existing clients, leveraging those relationships to generate opportunities for new work
Recruits, hires, develops and retains section staff, including development of plan for staff reporting, performance and compensation reviews, and succession
Leads a team including the direct and indirect supervision of at least 5 but typically 7 - 10 or more employees
Performs other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant field with 8 years of practical experience including 2 years of leadership experience
In lieu of degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Preferred

Master's degree in land surveying or geomatics
ASPRS certification
Licensed surveyor
10 years practical experience
2 years supervisory experience
