This role offers current students an opportunity to develop their electrical design knowledge, learn from industry-leading engineers, and enhance their academic learning while working on practical projects.

Responsibilities

Creating detailed physical and electrical designs, bills of materials, and job estimates under the technical supervision of an engineer
Preparing CAD or Microstation drawings and other project documentation
Providing low-level engineering support to engineers and other support personnel within division
Completing assigned work within agreed upon schedule and budget to a high level of quality
Constructing relay equipment racks for testing purposes on projects and assist with the testing

Qualification

CAD draftingAutoCADMicrostationElectrical designTeam collaborationDocumentation skillsCommunication skills

Required

Current student pursuing a degree in EET, CAD, Drafting, or relevant discipline
Demonstrated competence in CAD drafting (AutoCAD and/or Microstation)
Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills
Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
