25-26 Temporary Faculty Pool (Lecturer) - American Sign Language
Fresno State Library is seeking qualified candidates to join their Temporary Faculty Pool as Lecturers in American Sign Language. The role involves teaching undergraduate courses in ASL and adhering to university policies while preparing and delivering lectures, conducting assessments, and maintaining class schedules.
Libraries
Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate courses in American Sign Language or other classes as needed
Prepare, deliver, conduct, proctor, and grade lectures, office hours, homework assignments, quizzes, class projects, and midterm and final exams
Ensure all classes are offered and meet as scheduled throughout the entire semester in the assigned mode
Qualification
Required
A Master's degree in Sign Language Education or closely related field with ASLTA Certification
Demonstrated commitment to excellence built on merit, talent, diversity, accessibility, and equal opportunity for all
Preferred
A commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate level, which may be exhibited through prior teaching experiences and teaching evaluations or other evidence
Successful teaching experience at the undergraduate level
A minimum of 3 years in teaching American Sign Language and ASLTA Certification
