Responsibilities
Lead and manage primary and secondary market research projects to inform and guide strategic business decisions in the oncology space
Oversee the generation of market insights that support launch planning, strategy, and tactical development for oncology indications
Collect, analyze, and synthesize market information from diverse sources to provide insights on market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and product performance
Collaborate with global teams to develop launch strategies and execute supporting insights projects
Establish / manage tracking studies, KPIs, and routine performance tracking for oncology products
Develop, maintain, & update product forecasts for both in-line and pipeline oncology products, incorporating advanced forecasting models/methodologies
Align forecasts with business objectives by collaborating with finance, commercial, and supply chain teams
Present forecasting insights to senior leadership, providing clear explanations of assumptions, methodologies, and results
Incorporate market insights into forecasting assumptions and track key metrics through established studies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Life Sciences)
7-10 yrs of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech market research, analytics, & forecasting
Proven track record of managing and executing both qualitative and quantitative market research projects in oncology
Advanced forecasting techniques, statistical modeling, and scenario planning skills
Strong analytical skills, ability to interpret complex data and provide strategic insights
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in forecasting software and data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SAS, Power BI)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create compelling data visualizations
Preferred
A Master's degree (MBA, MS) is preferred
Working knowledge of Business Intelligence tools . programming (e.g., SQL, SAS) preferred
