Postdoctoral Research Associate

Responsibilities
Take a leading role in the Jefferson Lab Azz and b1 experiments
Probe tensor polarized deuterons to better understand short range correlations
Probe exotic six-quark quantum chromodynamic states in spin-1 systems
Assist with Hall B Run Group C data analysis and polarized target installation
Participate in the Hall C g2p2 experiment
Propose and initiate new experiments or help develop new proposals using the polarized target
Qualification
Required
PhD in experimental nuclear or particle physics by the appointment start date
Preferred
Interest or experience in spin physics and/or polarized targets
