Responsibilities

Collaborate with R&D Engineers and Engineering Support Specialists in need of mechanical design, addressing design, material, component needs, and the resolution of issues

Create 2D and 3D drawings and solid models for fabricated parts, assemblies, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) parts; also create schematic/bills of material (BOM) documents

Archive and perform configuration management of all design documentation (Teamcenter)

Layout and design using CAD software

Ability to create 2D detail drawings for fabrication parts and assemblies

Certification or familiarity with ASME Y14.5

Microsoft Office and Adobe products

Current eligibility for access to classified information at the Secret level or higher and may be subject to a government background investigation to upgrade clearance eligibility, if required
