This senior-level position aims to advance scholarship on community participation and related methods to address societal issues, while engaging in collaborative research and mentoring junior faculty.

Lead the institution's efforts to advance scholarship on community participation, participatory processes, community development, or related methods
Engage in collaborative research within their department and across campus
Provide faculty mentoring and development in community-engaged research
Support junior faculty in building their own community-engaged research agendas
Promote best practices for integrating community-based perspectives into scholarly work
Play a key role in advancing the university's mission to strengthen community engagement through research
Qualification
Required
Ph.D
Record of excellence in research and teaching commensurate with the rank of professor with tenure at a Carnegie R1 doctoral university
Strong record of publishing and extramural grant funding
Preferred
Outstanding advanced associate professors are encouraged to apply
