Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team, setting clear expectations and ensuring high-quality project execution
Provide technical expertise and oversight across line routing, survey coordination, PLS-CADD modeling, structure and foundation design, clearance checks, plan/profile development, material specifications, constructability evaluations, permitting, and construction support
Oversee work order package preparation, vendor/subcontractor coordination, and procurement activities
Review and approve engineering design submittals to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
Drive client engagement, building strong long-term relationships
Estimate projects, prepare proposals, and manage project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Mentor, coach, and motivate team members to achieve professional growth and project success
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering
Professional Engineer license
10+ years of transmission line engineering experience within the electric utility industry
Advanced expertise with PLS-CADD
Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and standards: NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI
Experience collaborating with substation, environmental, real estate, construction, and maintenance teams
Proven ability to manage projects, lead teams, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery
Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
Ability to work safely and ensure compliance with safety regulations
