Staff Psychologist
Maimonides Medical Center is Brooklyn’s largest healthcare system, serving over 250,000 patients each year. They are currently seeking a Staff Psychologist for their Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry service, where the psychologist will provide clinical care, supervise therapy cases, and participate in training and didactics for psychiatry residents and psychology interns.

Responsibilities
Individual supervision of therapy cases for psychiatry residents, psychology interns, and psychology externs
Participate in group supervision of psychology interns’ and externs’ psychological/neuropsychological testing cases in collaboration with other staff psychologists
Providing clinical didactics to psychiatry residents and psychology interns and externs
Providing testing didactics to psychology interns and externs
Qualification
Required
PhD or PsyD in Clinical, combined Clinical-School, or Counseling Psychology
Current NYS licensure or license-eligibility as a Psychologist
Extensive psychological/neuropsychological assessment experience
Individual, group, and family therapy experience
Intake interviewing skills
Excellent verbal/written communication skills in English
Exceptional interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
Experience and/or interest in directing psychology externship practicum
Preferred
Fluency in second language is a plus (Spanish, Russian, Chinese, etc.)
