Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to faculty, staff, and students; assist student within the lab using lab equipment, to include, computers, scanners, print release stations, and printers; assist students in the usage of general lab software; enforce all UITS computer lab rules; troubleshoot technical issues with mobile devices and computers; provide users with ongoing technical support by developing documentation; perform inventories and requisitioning equipment or supplies; maintaining complete records of daily activities, problems, and remedial action taken in a ticketing database and other duties assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent customer service skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
High level of problem-solving ability
Ability to work closely with students and team members
Knowledgeable in the current technologies for supporting computer hardware and network issues
Ability to resolve common computer, software, and network issues
GPA greater than 2.5
Current Columbus State University student, taking at least six (6) credit hour courses per semester
Preferred
