Conveyor Project Engineer

The Project Engineer will be responsible for designing equipment, improving product quality, and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing relationships with dealers and industry leaders.

Responsibilities
The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of Industrial Conveyors, Parts & Belts
The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of industrial conveyors and manufacturing processes (CNC, laser, welding, programming etc)
Can a general understanding of a wide variety of industries including agriculture, manufacturing, recycling, construction, waste, e-waste, single stream, food processing and more
Design equipment to be more economical while improving or meeting the current product quality
Have a 3-year track record of hitting or exceeding your sales quota
Cold call and drive net new business
Develop and incorporate unique sales strategies that fit your personality to ensure customer engagement is always increasing
Build and maintain a multi-level contact process for C-Level executives within each organization (CEO, CFO, COO etc)
Always find a new challenge to grow both personally and professionally
Be active in your community
Build long-term relationships with both waste and recycling brokers
Call on new dealers that fit our “perfect customer profile” and have the ability to tell customers they are not a good fit
Delivering top-notch customer service
Have the ability to handle field measurements for replacement conveyor belts, replacement parts, complete recycling system or conveyor replacements
Work closely with the engineering team to ensure all technicalities are 100% covered between both the customer and dealer before starting a project
Develop relationships with industry leaders
Have the ability to help customers get the correct measurements for sprockets, shafts, bearings, belts, pulleys, safety equipment etc
Always deliver both positive and critical feedback to all team members to ensure we continue to grow and enhance our product line
Navigate and solve complex customer issues when they arise and always remain positive
Team personality that always looks for the greater good for the team
Has the ability to present complex projects to executive groups and close opportunities that may exceed 1MM
Cold call and develop a new customer base from scratch
Always use our internal CRM
Travel when required (25% or more)
Meet or exceed quote for your territory (Net New Business)
Qualification
Required
Minimum Bachelors Degree (mechanical engineering or equivalent)
In-depth knowledge of Industrial Conveyors, Parts & Belts
In-depth knowledge of industrial conveyors and manufacturing processes (CNC, laser, welding, programming etc)
General understanding of a wide variety of industries including agriculture, manufacturing, recycling, construction, waste, e-waste, single stream, food processing and more
