Responsibilities

This is for an upcoming future opportunity
The NC3 SME shall provide an on-site NC3 SME to serve as the Government’s primary POC on NC3 requirements
The Contractor shall be knowledgeable of NC2 authorities and C2 relationships, NC3 operating principles, waveforms and technologies associated with NC3 enterprise systems, and a working knowledge of communications and Information Technology associated with the NC3 weapon system (AN/USQ-225) and its supporting space-related technologies and systems
The NC3 SME shall be capable of analyzing, reviewing, and responding to a variety of technical questions, challenges and concerns from the Government and assist the Government in answering technical and operational questions from Congressional, OSD, Interagency and industry relating to the AF NC3 enterprise
Professionals in project analysis (technical) are responsible for evaluating and assessing the feasibility, effectiveness, and impact of projects to support decision-making and ensure successful project outcomes
They utilize their expertise in data analysis, research methods, engineering and technical knowledge, and project management to analyze project requirements, risks, and performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to project stakeholders
Typical responsibilities include conducting project feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, and risk assessments to evaluate the viability and potential return on investment of proposed projects, developing project plans and schedules, and identifying key milestones and deliverables
Project analysis (technical) roles also involve monitoring and tracking project progress, performance, and expenditures, and analyzing variances to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
Additionally, professionals may prepare project reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings, facilitate decision-making, and ensure accountability and transparency
Their expertise in areas such as data analytics, financial modeling, engineering methodologies, and project management methodologies enables organizations to make informed decisions, allocate resources effectively, and optimize project outcomes
You serve as the primary contact for customers on assigned projects, leveraging knowledge of customer operations and business

Required

Masters degree and 6 years of experience OR a Bachelors degree and 8 years of experience OR an Associates degree and 11 years OR a high school diploma and 14 years of experience in lieu of degree
Demonstrated Experience With Waveform technologies, platform & system IT principles
Planning, directing, and managing complex and extended projects and operations
Crafting creative technical solutions to assist the Government to benchmark industry-proven technologies, systems, and processes to enable Next-Generation NC3
Working in complex environments with multiple POCs
Generating briefings; drafting information, point, white, and decision papers; drafting testimony and articles for publication; and, preparing senior Government personnel for public speaking engagements
Translate NC3 strategy into achievable technical solutions that address validated gaps and shortfalls
Ability to understand and assess the complexity of interconnected systems, platforms and communication technologies to discern the ideal operational parameters by which the Nation can execute NC3
Air Staff, JS, and OSD organization and documentation processes
How the USAF, USSF and USN NC3 capabilities, platforms, and technologies interact and complement one another to deliver NC2 over assured communications
Top Secret with ability to obtain SCI
Must be a US Citizen
