AmeriCorps is a national service organization dedicated to community engagement and youth development. They are seeking a Marketing Coordinator to implement strategic marketing initiatives, manage content across various platforms, and promote events to enhance awareness and engagement within the community.

Responsibilities

Implement strategic marketing initiatives to enhance awareness and engagement
Manage and create content for social media platforms, website, email campaigns, and printed materials
Oversee branding consistency across all communications and promotional materials
Work closely with the Programs team to promote events
Develop relationships with media outlets to increase press coverage of programs and events
Assist with special events, including the annual Gala and community outreach activities
Capture and curate photography and videography content that highlights camp experiences and impact
Maintain and update the organization’s website with relevant and engaging content
Collaborate with the Happy Hollow team to ensure marketing initiatives align with the organization’s mission and goals
Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
Minimum of 1 year of experience in marketing, social media management, or communications
Strong writing and editing skills for various types of content
Experience with digital marketing tools, including email platforms, social media scheduling tools, and website management (FloDesk, Squarespace, or similar)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Passion for youth development, outdoor education, and nonprofit work
Ability to work some evenings and weekends for events and community outreach
Must pass a federal, state, and National Sex Offender background check

Preferred

Graphic design experience is a plus (Adobe Creative Suite or Canva)
