Timely preparation and communication of preliminary reports
Demonstrated competency in all aspects of RIS and PACS as it pertains to modality specific functions and use
Adherence to all department policies, procedures, and protocols
Qualification
Required
Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (S) or Certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider
Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and all hospital and community caregivers
Management of patient priority
Interdepartmental teamwork for patient care coordination in outpatient setting
Timely preparation and communication of preliminary reports
