They are seeking a Team Accountant to join their Dallas office, where the role involves applying fundamental accounting concepts and working on financial statement preparation and review for notable retail properties.

Responsibilities

Full general ledger reporting through financial statement preparation and review
Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, management fees and lender escrow accounts
Bank statement reconciliations
Review of accounts payable and receivables for portfolio including cash management
Other duties as assigned

Required

Ability to operate in a high-volume environment
Accrual basis accounting experience a plus
Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to meet assigned deadlines
Ability to effectively communicate and build positive rapport with individuals at all levels of the organization, as well as outside the company
Dependable with a strong work ethic
Minimum 12 hours of accounting required

Preferred

Accounting or Finance Degree preferred
