Amazon is seeking a Principal Product Manager - Technical to lead the development and implementation of Responsible AI Product Policies. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure the safe and responsible use of Artificial General Intelligence products while measuring business impact through metrics and customer feedback.

Responsibilities

Develop frameworks for risk identification across new capabilities, products, and use cases that require Responsible AI policies
Design policies to govern the responsible use of our models considering emerging capabilities, use cases, and modalities. Perform ongoing reviews of existing policies to identify and address gaps and ambiguities
Clearly communicate risks behind policies to internal stakeholder teams and to senior leadership to support understanding and consensus of product policy positions
Build collaborative relationships across product, science, Legal, PR, Public Policy, central governance teams, and teams as necessary to support policy development and management
Develop deep expertise in how our Responsible AI systems work to effectively partner with technical team to implement and enforce policies
Keep up to date with new and existing AI policy standards and norms

Qualification

Risk management experienceCompliance knowledgePolicy developmentMicrosoft Office proficiencyProject Management ProfessionalLean principlesWork ethicCommunication skillsCollaboration skills

Required

6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent
Master's degree or equivalent
