Responsibilities
Support full life cycle platform architecture, system automation, and deployment pipelines in a dynamic and agile development environment
Troubleshoot and optimize complex software systems
Qualification
Required
Fluent with Git version control systems
Expert knowledge of Linux (RHEL 6/7/8, RHCS/RHCE, CentOS)
Strong experience with Windows system administration, monitoring, and performance tuning
10+ years working in Agile software development environments (excluding academic experience)
Expertise with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, Bamboo
Proficient with containerization & orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher
Familiarity with caching technologies: Memcache, ActiveMQ, Redis, APC
Database experience with MySQL (clustering, replication, tuning), and Elasticsearch
Solid understanding of security practices, networking protocols, firewalls, and compliance
Deep experience in system architecture and ability to read/debug code
10+ years managing AWS and virtualized environments
Proficient in at least one OOP language: Ruby, C, C++, Go, Python, or Java
Experience analyzing large, complex software systems to isolate and resolve issues
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
10+ years of professional experience
Preferred
Experience with Gradle, Maven, ANT, Shell scripting
Familiarity with serverless architectures and SDN (Software Defined Networking)
Experience with infrastructure automation (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
Background in Site Reliability Engineering principles
