The role involves assurance and consulting, developing quality assurance metrics, and safeguarding the organization’s assets, while also performing duties akin to a Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities
Coordinate all general accounting activities in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and fiscal management activities appropriate for non-profit companies and the health care industry
Responsible for assurance and consulting (internal control), developing continuous improvement quality assurance and quality improvement (QA/QI) metrics, key performance indicator (KPI) metrics and safeguarding the organization’s assets
Member of CLIENT’s Administrative Council (AC) performing duties of the organization’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
A demonstrated wide breadth of organizational, business and accounting experience and knowledge in order to perform at an executive level as a member of AC
Must possess a valid Oregon Driver's license and be insurable for client service purposes, travel between business offices, and to attend required meeting and/or trainings
Preferred
Certification as a Certified Managerial Accountant (CMA) and Certified Strategy and Competitive Analyst (CSCA) is preferred
Knowledge in state and local funding streams and rules, experience in a healthcare related industry, billing and electronic health record systems is preferred
