Responsibilities

Research the viability of a new program or initiative; compile and present statistics
Clean up, edit and update a database
Conduct a failure analysis and investigation
Evaluate and improve efficiency, streamline programs, or cut costs
Perform a study or survey; analyze and present results
Compile employee manuals or develop process directions for tasks
Conduct a cost benefit analysis to upgrade on a specific material/machine
Design tooling or ground support equipment
Work on a continuous improvement project resulting in a measurable improvement
Carries out other duties as assigned

Qualification

CAD softwareLean ManufacturingProject Management5S PrinciplesLean Green Belt CertificationTechnical drawing interpretationTeam collaborationProblem solving

Required

Completion of two years of education in engineering related curriculum
Project Management Experience with CAD and simulation software
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S Principles
The ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints
The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
The ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
The ability to sit for extended periods of time
Must be a U.S. Citizen

Preferred

Lean Green Belt Certification preferred
Project Experience in manufacturing setting preferred
