Responsibilities
Perform technical analysis by reviewing the user requirements and create design documents
Perform testing verifying they match the requirements, as necessary
Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required (i.e. design documents, process flows, object or data models, project plans, environment diagrams, test plans, etc.)
Collaborate with the project team for sprint/release work on tasks such as providing development effort estimates, discussing architecture and design, triaging, and resolving defects or issues in multiple environments and providing status on work assignments or issues
This work will include identifying the technical specifications and data integration requirements needed for implementation, including mapping the next steps for system design, identifying the methodology necessary to establish an ECIDS in the state, and building the data governance structure that will support an ECIDS
Qualification
Required
Creating ETL processes, transporting, aggregating large data sets between systems
Experience in SQL Server or Oracle stored procedures, PL/SQL, Dynamic SQL, and exception handling
Experience in an object-oriented framework such as .NET Core or Java
XML, JSON, API Testing, JavaScript and JQuery
Experience mid-large sized, complex enterprise-level SDLC
Experience with Texas state agencies
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform such as PowerBI and PowerApps
Experience with project-specific tools such as Jira, Tempo, BitBucket, Confluence
Scrum/Agile methodologies
