Microwave Transmission Tier I, II and III
Tower Communications Expert (TCE) is dedicated to building, upgrading, and maintaining the backbone of America’s wireless networks. They are seeking a Microwave Transmission Project Specialist to oversee installation, upgrades, and maintenance of microwave and telecom systems across multiple sites, combining hands-on fieldwork with project leadership.

Responsibilities
Manage microwave, UMTS, LTE, and 5G deployment projects from planning to completion
Lead and support multiple tower crews on installations, upgrades, and relocations
Oversee equipment harvesting, radio replacements, and system integrations
Conduct bid walks, prepare and review scopes of work (SOW), and manage subcontractors
Handle trouble tickets, maintenance, and repair operations across assigned sites
Deploy and manage COWs (Cell on Wheels), portable generators, and emergency communications systems during natural disasters or outages
Maintain accurate documentation, invoicing, and customer reporting
Ensure all work meets TCE’s high standards for safety, quality, and compliance
Qualification
Required
5+ years in microwave transmission, tower construction, or wireless telecom projects
Strong knowledge of UMTS, LTE, and 5G systems
Experience managing multiple tower crews and subcontractors
OSHA 30 (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, scopes of work, and RF specs
Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving in high-pressure environments
Valid driver's license and ability to travel (including emergency deployments)
Preferred
Previous work with carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, Ericsson, or similar
Hands-on installation experience with radios, microwave paths, and backhaul equipment
Background in emergency response deployments (hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, etc.)
Strong communication and leadership skills
