In this role, you will assist in preparing and administering the annual budget, analyze financial statements, develop financial models, and contribute to comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and administration of the annual budget, including revenue and expenditure forecasting
Collaborate with department heads to gather and analyze budgetary data, monitoring budgetary performance, and recommend adjustments as necessary
Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and external entities
Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
Support the Finance Department in developing and implementing financial strategies to achieve the City’s goals
Conduct cost-benefit analysis for proposed projects and initiatives and evaluate financial impact of policy changes and new programs
Stay updated on financial best practices, regulations, and industry trends, and propose and implement process improvements to enhance financial operations
Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
May be required to respond after hours, including holidays and weekends, in the event of a departmental or City-wide emergency
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
Must possess a valid Texas Driver's License
