Director of Lifecycle Marketing & Retention - HealthTech
CRI Genetics is a leader in genetics and wellness reporting, empowering individuals with science-backed insights into their health. The Director of Lifecycle Marketing & User Retention will be responsible for managing the customer journey post-acquisition, focusing on turning one-time buyers into loyal subscribers while implementing strategies to reduce churn and maximize lifetime value.

Responsibilities
Own Backend Marketing: Lead all lifecycle, retention, and subscription marketing strategies across email, SMS, and in-product experiences
Grow Subscriptions: Develop funnels and campaigns to maximize subscription conversions and recurring revenue
Reduce Churn: Implement lifecycle touchpoints, personalized journeys, and feedback loops that increase retention and customer loyalty
Manage the Team: Direct copywriters and collaborate with front-end developers and designers to continuously improve messaging and user journeys
Experiment & Optimize: Lead A/B testing and funnel optimization for landing pages, email campaigns, and subscription flows
Leverage Data: Build segmentation, analyze results, and turn insights into actions that drive measurable revenue growth
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, engineering, and analytics to deliver cohesive, automated customer experiences
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing at a B2C digital product, subscription, or eCommerce company
Proven track record of driving measurable subscription growth, retention, and churn reduction through full lifecycle marketing
5+ years hands-on expertise in email marketing strategy and execution, including segmentation, automation, deliverability, and creative optimization
Demonstrated ability to own the full customer journey across email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging — from onboarding flows to win-back campaigns
Strong experience in managing copywriters and collaborating with developers/front-end teams to deliver high-performing campaigns and funnels
Skilled in A/B testing, funnel optimization, and performance analytics, with a history of improving LTV, repeat purchase rates, and subscription conversion
Proficiency with CRM and lifecycle platforms such as Klaviyo, Braze, Iterable, or similar, plus exposure to AI/automation tools
