Responsibilities

Develop deep knowledge of applicable products, customer support, and technical skills vital to perform high-quality preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments

Performs preventative maintenance, installation, and repairs independently

Completes administration duties (logging service activities, expense reporting, inventory, etc.)

Required

Associate's degree (A.S./A.A.S) or Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering or equivalent experience (i.e. Military Certificates in electronics or avionics)

1-2 years experience using and/or troubleshooting mass spectrometry, capillary electrophoresis or scientific instruments

Meet Vendor Credentialing requirements

Ability to travel – Domestic/International travel by vehicle or airplane, with up to 50% overnight travel may be required and exposure to seasonal weather based on geographic region

Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record

Ability and willingness to lift up to 50 lbs. along with ability to walk, climb, stand, carry materials, stoop, kneel, and bend at the waist

Preferred

Ability to work with electrical and electrical mechanical technology and follow all required safety protocols
