Post Doctoral Associate
The University of Florida is seeking a Post Doctoral Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This role involves conducting research in applied Artificial Intelligence for hardware security, managing projects, mentoring students, and collaborating on grant-funded projects.

Responsibilities
Conducting research on the development of machine learning methods for assurance on hardware devices like PCBs and ICs
Development of automated hardware reverse engineering approaches at the IC and PCB levels for design recovery
Project management to meet project deliverable commitments including tasks such as organizing weekly project meetings
Mentoring students
Software prototyping
Creation of scholarly publications
Delivery of presentations to share research outcomes
Collaborations with FINS faculty, sponsors, and partners for overseeing grant-funded projects
Crafting proposals for funding from industry and government-level agencies
Qualification
Required
Candidates must possess a PhD in electrical engineering or a related field
Some project management or teaching experience
Preferred
A proven record of scholarly contributions, including journal articles, conference proceedings, and patent applications
Teaching and mentoring experience
Collaboratively mentor graduate students in the laboratory
Actively contribute to the development and composition of new research proposals for securing external research funding
