Responsibilities
Build the platform : services in Python/TypeScript for orchestration, routing/gateways, RAG, and eval pipelines
Work smarter with AI : use Copilot/ChatGPT with tests, linters, benchmarks
Ship to prod : own design → deploy; add SLOs, dashboards, runbooks
Operate reliably : improve latency, cost, availability; incident response and postmortems
AI in production : guardrails, prompt/version management, offline/online evals; multi-provider integration
Data & storage : vector search (pgvector/Pinecone/OpenSearch), caching, Postgres/RDS
Security & compliance : HIPAA best practices (RBAC, audit logs, least privilege, secrets); no training on PHI unless explicitly allowed
Qualification
Required
7+ years software engineering (or equivalent); strong Python and TypeScript/Node
2+ years applied AI in production (agentic workflows/RAG/orchestration)
AWS and containers/Kubernetes (EKS/ECS); Terraform
Distributed systems design, performance optimization, deep debugging
Observability (metrics, tracing, logging) and on-call ownership; excellent communication
Preferred
Healthcare/regulated industry experience (HIPAA, PHI handling)
LLMOps: prompt mgmt, eval frameworks, safety/guardrails, cost & latency tuning
Model gateway/routing across providers; feature flags/traffic shaping; caching at scale
