Responsibilities

Draft and design outreach materials for seminars, events, programs, and announcements
Maintain a shared event calendar; research and monitor relevant department events
Assist with the logistics and setup of in-person and virtual events, including seminars, recruitment sessions, and meetings
Format slides, signage, flyers, and other promotional assets
Help with event logistics such as room reservations, catering orders, materials prep, and event breakdown
Other event or administrative duties as assigned

Required

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Interest in event promotion, event coordination, or communications

Current UT Austin student, enrolled/registered with fees paid for the current semester and in good academic standing
Financial aid work-study recipient

Preferred

Familiarity with UT Austin's communication channels and event spaces
