Responsibilities
Lead a high-autonomy engineering team delivering production-grade creative tools
Shape and communicate architectural vision while contributing hands-on code
Build systems with strong observability, testing, and maintainability
Iterate quickly with direct feedback from creatives, ensuring tools deliver real value
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing
Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and code reviews for 1–2 senior engineers
Partner closely with creative stakeholders to translate needs into clear engineering initiatives
Own architectural decisions and ensure long-term maintainability and scalability
Set development priorities, balancing quick wins with foundational improvements
Champion AI integration where it drives meaningful creative impact
Qualification
Required
Significant experience (typically 7+ years) building and operating production software, with at least 2+ years in a technical leadership capacity
Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead small, high-performing teams
Strong technical skills across backend, frontend, and cloud systems
Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration, especially with creative or design-focused teams
Curiosity, adaptability, and sound judgment when integrating AI into workflows
Languages & Frameworks: Python, FastAPI, React
Cloud & Infrastructure: AWS
