They are seeking a Senior Site/Civil Practice Leader to lead business development, engineering design, and permitting for multidisciplinary land development projects.

Responsibilities
Lead the design, permitting, and execution of residential, institutional, commercial centers, warehouse distribution centers, and mixed-use projects for both public and private clients
Collaborate with office and regional leadership to develop strategic growth plans and optimize staff utilization
Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset by actively contributing to business development efforts - cultivating new client relationships for the firm and strengthening partnerships with existing clients
Oversee site/civil engineering efforts from concept through completion, including site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, erosion, and sediment control
Provide technical leadership and oversight in stormwater management, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, SWPPP preparation
Contribute to technical and proposal writing with strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and sound judgment
Apply integrated knowledge of land development engineering, including coordination with geotechnical and environmental disciplines; and
Perform other duties as requested
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required
Possess a valid Professional Engineer license in California
16+ years of successful, local and related site / civil engineering experience with a concentration in land development on both small and large projects
Proven success in client development, client management, and project delivery abilities
Active participation in professional organizations
Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment, and to mentor project and staff engineers
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities
