Responsibilities

Develop, document, and revise test plans and procedures and quality standards for software and hardware, focused on wireless products and related accessories
Manage the cross functional bug reporting and resolution process, ability to SW upgrade the devices using OEM tools
Manage the test sample requirements and inventory. Ensure the distributed samples are tracked and upgraded to the latest available firmware level
Validate OEM and test partners test results by executing the regression test plan and perform other adhoc random testing
Test and certify MRs (maintenance releases or software updates) and Security MRs by executing the regression plan and the test cases impacted by the MR scope
Manage activation and deactivation of the test samples
Compile test results data, collect logs and write required engineering reports, to report to OEMs and other fix agents
Update issues tracking and management tools to ensure all the information is current and properly shared
Troubleshoot related issues and test, maintain, and monitor relevant solutions and logs, Field testing if required to reproduce the issue
Monitor customer-reported issues, perform root cause analysis, and develop test methods to improve overall customer satisfaction
Deploy new test tools as required
Knowledge in JIRA and Confluence
Understanding of LTE and 5G RF and Core technologies
Must be able to communicate effectively and convincingly with all areas of the company - technical and non-technical - as well as with external parties
Collaborate with project stakeholders and internal Development and E2E teams

Android - 7 Yrs of Exp
Automation Tools (Spirent or Eggplant and basic logging skills with QXDM and QCAT) - 5 Yrs of Exp

Understanding of LTE and 5G RF and Core technologies
Must be able to communicate effectively and convincingly with all areas of the company - technical and non-technical - as well as with external parties
