Regional Sales Engineer
Mill-Max Mfg. Corp. is one of the world's leading manufacturers of electronic interconnect components, and they are seeking a Regional Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth within an assigned geographic region. The role involves combining technical knowledge with sales acumen to support OEMs, contract manufacturers, and distribution partners throughout the design-in and procurement process.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to achieve or exceed sales targets, including account planning, new business development, and opportunity management
Coordinate, evaluate, and support independent sales representatives; provide technical assistance to OEM and distributor accounts through frequent contact and visits
Analyze sales performance and market trends to identify growth opportunities within assigned territories or accounts
Establish and maintain an effective sales management system, encompassing key account management, representative evaluation, customer training, and follow-up procedures
Keep senior leadership informed on territory performance, opportunities, challenges, and recommended actions; initiate follow-up or corrective measures as needed
Represent the company at industry trade shows to promote products and strengthen customer relationships within the assigned region
Collaborate with Inside Sales, Field Applications Engineers (FAEs) and Application Engineers to support design-in activities and drive design wins
Prepare and submit accurate and timely sales activity reports, market analyses, territory assessments, and expense documentation
Continuously improve technical and sales skills; stay current on company offerings, competitor activity, and market trends
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent technical background
3–7 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in electronic components or interconnect products
Strong understanding of component sales cycles, especially design-in/spec-in to production
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with custom or semi-custom components and the associated quoting/design cycle
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or specifications
Proficiency with MS Office
Willingness to travel regionally (~25–50%)
