Responsibilities
Develop and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis routers, translating design specifications into machine-ready programs
Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications to determine the most effective approach for CNC routing
Select appropriate tooling, adjust machine settings, and calibrate tools for optimal performance and precision
Create accurate programs for CNC machines, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing errors or material waste utilizing AlphaCam software
Set up and operate CNC router machines, primarily involving solid wood and veneered panels
Conduct test runs and quality checks to validate programming and make necessary adjustments
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CNC programming, machining processes, or equipment
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure continuous production
Collaborate closely with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure timely and efficient project completion
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in CNC programming
Proficiency in AlphaCam CAD/CAM software
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and teamwork skills
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time
Must be able to lift heavy objects up to 50 pounds
Must be willing to work flexible hours when required
Preferred
Technical certification or associate degree in a related field is preferred
