Start in 2026 SummerGarver is an employee-owned engineering, planning, and environmental services firm focused on water and wastewater services among other domains. They are seeking an ambitious engineering student to join their Water Design Center as a CAD Intern for the Summer of 2026, where the intern will gain hands-on experience and contribute to innovative water treatment facility planning and design projects.

Responsibilities
Create plans, sections, and details in various software (i.e. Civil 3D, Revit, AutoCAD)
Work as a team player with a group of technicians and designers, of various levels and disciplines (process, structural, mechanical, electrical etc.) and work with Project Managers and design teams to execute projects
Arrange necessary resources for file sharing and communication to effectively share design files across the company or with clients, sub consultants, and contractors
Maintain strong communication with engineers and project managers to ensure timely delivery of projects and avoid any potential project conflicts
QA/QC and ensure that all projects adhere to company CAD standards
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Proficient in Autodesk Revit
Proficient in AutoCAD
Previous internship experience
