Responsibilities
Develop and maintain applications using Java, Python, and other programming languages
Design and implement data models and database structures using Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and other databases
Utilize ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data into data warehouses
Analyze complex datasets using tools such as Tableau and Hadoop to derive actionable insights
Implement machine learning algorithms to enhance application functionality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software solutions
Conduct database design and optimization to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval
Write scripts using Bash (Unix shell) for automation of tasks and processes
Maintain documentation for code development and system architecture
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau
Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and applications
Strong understanding of database management systems including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, and Hadoop
Experience with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
Proficient in SQL for querying databases effectively
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
Experience working in Agile development methodologies
Preferred
Knowledge of linked data principles is a plus
Familiarity with Spark for big data processing is preferred
