Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking a full-time faculty pediatric neuropsychologist to join their Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. The role involves conducting neuropsychological assessments, providing education to patients and families, and collaborating with other medical professionals, while also engaging in teaching and research activities.

Responsibilities

Completing neuropsychological assessments
Patient and family education
Consultation with colleagues in other medical, neurological and mental health specialties
Occasional consultation to our inpatient service, which includes a neurodevelopmental unit, child unit, and adolescent unit
Teaching and supervising psychology interns and postdoctoral fellows
Engaging in clinical research that is relevant to our community-oriented mission

Qualification

Doctoral degree in psychologyBoard certified in NeuropsychologyExperience in neurodevelopmental disordersCognitive remediation skillsMultilingual neuropsychological servicesPatient educationConsultation with colleaguesTeaching psychology internsClinical research engagement

Required

Doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA/CPA accredited program
Completed an APA/CPA accredited pre-doctoral internship
Completed a postdoctoral residency in Neuropsychology
Board certified or eligible for board certification
Licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts upon starting the position

Preferred

Experience with assessing cognitive and socio-emotional functioning associated with severe mental illness (particularly complex trauma, psychosis, and clinical high risk)
Experience with neurodevelopment and neurological/medical complications from early childhood to early adulthood in culturally diverse community health settings
Skills in cognitive remediation
Experience and skills in providing multilingual and culturally-sensitive neuropsychological services
