Responsibilities

Maintain routers, switches, and other physical hardware that is part of the networking pillar infrastructure

Install and configure network equipment and firewalls, ensuring that the systems are fully patched and protected

Required

Understanding and hand-on experience of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols. (BGP, OSFP, TCP, UDP, HTTPS, etc.)

Hands-on experience in security systems, including Fortinet, Crowd Strike and other intrusion technologies, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, internet content filtering, etc

Hands-on experience with networking manufactures such as: Meraki, Cisco, HP, and Dell networking devices

Hands-on experience with VLAN, LAN, SDWAN architecture

Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and PKI

Hands-on experience with FortiGate Firewalls

Hands-on experience with working with managed service providers

Hands-on experience with IP4/IP6 IP schemas

Hands-on experience in trouble shooting and resolution of networking related issues

Hands-on experience with Wireshark, Splunk, NetFlow and other diagnostic tools

Experience with Virtualization technologies (VMWARE & Hyper-V)

Experiences with RADIUS based authentication

Experience with San technologies

Participate in an on-call rotation and patching cycles within your pillar
