Responsibilities
Design and optimize prompts for our backend AI agent that powers automated financial processing and decision-making systems
Conduct rigorous experiments to evaluate prompt performance, measuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability metrics across different data inputs
Collaborate with engineering and ML teams to implement prompt strategies within production backend systems and APIs
Develop comprehensive testing frameworks and maintain versioned prompt libraries with detailed performance documentation
Research advanced prompt engineering techniques and conduct statistical analysis on system outputs to optimize model behavior
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science
Hands-on experience with large language models (GPT, Claude, etc.)
Strong technical writing and analytical skills with attention to precision and systematic testing methodologies
Detail-oriented approach to documentation, performance measurement, and systematic experimentation in a fast-paced startup environment
Ability to commit to working minimum 4-hour blocks out of our Seattle office at least once weekly
