Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end design, development, and deployment of solutions built using IBM BAW
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define solution architecture and technical roadmap
Develop robust, scalable backend services primarily using Java
Leverage AWS cloud services (Lambda, S3, ECS, DynamoDB, etc.) to build secure and cloud-native applications
Provide technical leadership on automation and workflow optimization initiatives
Participate in the modernization of legacy systems using modern tech stacks and architectural best practices
Explore and integrate GenAI capabilities to drive intelligent process automation and data-driven decision-making
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and recommend new tools, frameworks, or approaches
Qualification
Required
10+ years of hands-on experience in software development and architecture
Expertise in IBM BAW (Business Automation Workflow) – workflow design, solution integration, and deployment required
Strong proficiency in Java (Spring/Spring Boot) for backend development
Exposure to Python and Generative AI tools or platforms (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, etc.)
Deep understanding of AWS cloud stack and cloud-native development patterns
Strong understanding of architectural design patterns, microservices, and DevOps practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong communication skills to interact with business and technical stakeholders
Preferred
IBM BAW certification is a plus
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Prior experience working on AI/ML-enabled workflow solutions
