Responsibilities
Analyze spatial and tabular data related to electric transmission and distribution networks
Develop advanced GIS models and tools for asset management, network planning, and regulatory reporting
Work directly with client stakeholders to interpret business needs and deliver GIS-based analytical solutions
Create dashboards, visualizations, and reports to present insights from spatial data
Perform spatial analysis for proximity, risk, outage impact, and network connectivity
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to support decision-making with GIS analytics
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
3+ years of professional GIS experience in a utility or infrastructure environment
Proficiency in ESRI ArcGIS (Desktop, Pro, and Online)
Experience managing and analyzing utility GIS data (e.g., substations, transmission lines)
Strong analytical and communication skills in a client-facing environment
Proficiency with SQL and working with large datasets
Preferred
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or ArcGIS Dashboards
Familiarity with utility asset or outage management systems (e.g., Maximo, SAP)
Proficiency with Python, Model Builder, or automation tools for geospatial analysis
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards in electric utilities
Background in statistical or geospatial modeling
