Program Manager - Logistics
AAR is supporting the Defense Logistics Agency's supply chain management efforts at the Corpus Christi Army Depot. The Program Manager will build and manage a team of supply chain experts, coordinate across organizations, and develop solutions to parts availability issues while ensuring effective communication among stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Build, manage, and train a highly effective team of supply chain experts
Manage the supply chain and mitigate parts-related risks/issues
Serve as the key liaison with the customer
Develop and advocate for solutions to parts availability issues
Develop strategies to support customer initiatives in materiel planning and logistics
Monitor DLA impact on fleet-wide weapon system readiness and analyze provisioning related degraders
All other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience building, training, and managing a team
Previous experience leading in a cross-functional team environment
Previous experience implementing lean and supply chain initiatives
Experience in supply management and logistical support functions
Broad understanding of the levels of repair philosophies for military services
Must have an understanding of Military Supply Chain processes and inventory practices
Ability to obtain a government CAC and a Secret Security Clearance (as required)
Bachelor's Degree from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Twelve (12) years of professional experience in supply chain/distribution
Seven (7) or more years' experience in a supervisor role
Preferred
Strong collaborative, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft productivity suites
5 years' experience working for DLA and/or working directly supporting a USG Repair Depot
Excellent relationship/interpersonal skills
Ability to work with incomplete information and ambiguity
Industry knowledge of Aerospace & Defense supply chain
