Responsibilities
Manage and lead weekend production operations across machining, laser cutting, press brake/bending, fabrication, assembly, powder coating, and painting departments
Supervise, coach, and support weekend production staff to meet quality, delivery, and productivity goals
Coordinate daily workflow and priorities in alignment with production schedules and plant-wide objectives
Monitor work-in-progress and ensure proper execution of jobs according to specifications
Identify and resolve production issues in real-time; escalate to Plant Manager as necessary
Promote and enforce a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality control teams as needed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes including welding, assembly, powder coating, and painting
Proven ability to lead teams and manage shift-level operations effectively
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Availability to work a weekend shift schedule (Friday–Sunday or as defined)
Preferred
Working knowledge of production software or ERP systems preferred
