Responsibilities
Oversee the extended day arrival and dismissal process for all students participating in Auxiliary Programs
Ensuring child safety while providing homework assistance
Coordinate all aspects of aftercare, including attendance, snack, homework, recess, games, and activities, while maintaining a safe and secure environment
Monitor dismissal of all students to parents/guardians and the inter-campus shuttle
Oversee all safety protocols and norms as related to the SRP plans
Qualification
Required
Prior experience in extended daycare and after-school programs
Experience with and enthusiasm for working with elementary-aged students
Dedication to supporting the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students
Robust interpersonal skills with an upbeat, engaging, 'can-do' personality
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Comfortable with incorporating the latest technology into your workflow, including Zoom
Skilled in navigating the Google Suite of applications (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, etc.)
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience creating, supporting, and sustaining a culture of access and equity in a school environment
High level of responsibility and accountability
Must be able to balance working autonomously and as part of a team to contribute to the promotion of the school's mission
A collaborative, service-oriented, and restorative justice-based approach to facilitate and foster effective professional working relationships across the school and all constituencies
Commitment to DEIB and the requisite skills to work cross-functionally with diverse constituency groups across the organization
Preferred
Background using Veracross and Finalsite is a bonus but not a requirement
