Visiting Professor of Law, Legal Practice
University of the Pacific is seeking a Visiting Professor of Law for their McGeorge School of Law for the 2025-26 academic year. The successful candidate will teach three classes in the Global Lawyering Skills program, focusing on legal research, writing, and oral advocacy.

Responsibilities
Teach three classes in McGeorge’s Global Lawyering Skills program, covering legal research, writing, and oral advocacy
Teach GLS I in the fall semester of the first year of law school
Teach GLS II in the spring of the first year of law school, building on GLS I
Teach GLS III in the fall semester of the students’ second year
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctorate or equivalent degree
Preferred
Exceptional academic record
Excellent written communication skills
Commitment to the vision, mission and core values of the law school
Excellent interpersonal skills
Technological competence
Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures
Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting
Ability to engage and integrate culturally responsive practices and knowledge in their work
