Responsibilities

Conducting and managing Phase I and Phase II environmental investigations
Soil and groundwater remediation
Project scheduling
Staff mentoring
Budget control
Meeting and interacting with clients and regulatory agencies
Coordinating and participating in and overseeing staff field activities
Logging of borings, trenches and cores
Evaluating geologic and hydrogeological conditions
Sampling soil, soil gas, and groundwater
Preparing environmental proposals and reports
Providing technical support to staff-level engineers, geologists, and field technicians

Required

B.S. Degree in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
appropriate related professional registration/certification (e.g., California Professional Geologist or Civil Engineer)
5-10 years of recent professional environmental consulting experience conducting most or all of the duties described
local experience and familiarity with the geologic and engineering practice
strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
team player
detail oriented
excellent verbal and written communication skills
proficiency with Word, Excel, and Adobe

Preferred

An advance degree is a plus
Experience with construction activities is also desired
