A&T Systems, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Mechanic II to support telecommunication network systems at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining telecommunication equipment while ensuring uptime and serviceability of telephone switch equipment.

Responsibilities

Maintain coverage for uptime and serviceability of all Telephone Switch equipment

Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains telecommunications equipment

Provides reports, completes requests for new service, and determines methodology for installing telephone service

Review engineering plans and represent the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) for Telephone Switch issues

Extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals as well as advise NEC on recommended courses of action

Proficient with TDM and VoIP technologies

Perform preventative maintenance on company purchased equipment

Report necessary emergency maintenance to Senior Management and NEC

Complete data calls, reports and briefings on a frequent basis

Follow department procedures for backing up telephone databases

Perform other duties as assigned
